A compact combo that does +DL recording exceptionally well.
Cons
No flexible record mode and limited support for +rw media.

This unit has a ATSC tuner for high definition TV, a NTSC tuner for standard broadcast, and a QAM tuner for receiving unencrypted, high definition TV from basic analog cable. I wish that I could say that this is a great product and that I'm very pleased, but unfortunately I'm not.
It's a shame to hear that these devices are prone to locking up, and unfortunately, I'm also victim of a bad unit.
