Pros Inexpensive, attractive, quiet, stable
Cons No reasonable spin-down possibility, absolutely not "plug and play"

*******9/8/11 Update*******

The same device that was reviewed below back in 2007 is still running perfectly.  It sits in a cabinet, serving up MP3 files, running 24x7.  I make an image of the hard drive a couple times a year.  I am convinced the NSLU2 is a quality device,... Read full review »

Pros Easy to use and set up for basic network drive use.
Cons 255 character FTP command limit (file path limit), Port 21 only, proprietary drive format
Recommended it? No

I've been using Linksys products for quite some time now. When it comes to network equipment, I use nothing but.
