iPhones have a great feature... Actually, they have tons of great features... not the least of of which is, when listening to music through their included earbuds, you can answer a phone call by pressing a button on the earbuds' cable, and have your conversation using the buds' built-in microphone... Pros Great sound, excellent midrange and highs. Low price.
Cons Response curve isn't flat. Hard to find locally. Not enough bass for some.

I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I'm more picky than the average person when it comes to sound -- I can't stand most laptop speakers (I don't know how kids can stand blasting music from their laptops), and I was so disappointed with the sound from my LCD TV I totally disabled the speakers...
