Pros SPEED! Made by Intel. 66MHz i960 RISC, 2Mb cache. GREAT for anemic machines.

I'm a tad old school inasmuch as I prefer wired networks. Yeah, they're more complex and have their drawbacks (cables add a POF, cables always seem too long or too short, moving hardware/systems/entire networks is more work, etc.) But they're FAST...

Pros Gets so hot can give blisters. Funny for the new guy to find out.
Cons So bad makes me like Realtec NICs.
Recommended it? No

Have about 14 of these nics. I hate them all. Some get wicked hot, some WRITE CRAP TO MY RAID 5. Oh yea, no open source drivers. Read full review »
