Pros Optical resolution 2400, unlimited interpolated, high quality scans
Cons ADF jams without stopping, skews paper. Incomplete TWAIN interface. Poor customer service.
Recommended it? No

After owning an HP ScanJet 6250C scanner for several years, I upgraded to the HP ScanJet 7450C. It was a big disappointment in some ways, adequate in others.

Recently my company purchased me a Hewlett Packard Scanjet G3010 Flatbed Scanner for use in my office. My job requires that I archive documents on our networked hard drive, which means that I have to scan hard copy documents into .pdf form. I have also used the scanner to scan photographs.

Pros Lots of scanner for the money. Prodigious resolution at near-microscopic levels.
Cons Film-scanning feature completely (and most likely permanently) useless.

Mixed sentiments about this scanner:
