I purchased the 5940 InkJet printer to replace my home office printer. While I looked at other brands at the store, I've always had a good experience with HP printers, so I wound up buying the 5940 over comparable printers by Canon and Epson. So far, I love this printer. I'll get to the specs in a minute, but for now, let me give you a warning. With the fast black text printout of this thing, be sure to extend the paper out tray arm... because it will shoot the pages out at lightening speed and if there's nothing there to stop them,...

Set up in under 30 minutes, the printer quality in both text and graphics is better than the 20 lb beast I was using, this one weighs about 4-5 lbs. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.
