Read a lot of reviews on remotes and ended up trying the Harmony, I am glad I did. This remote programs pretty well once you have spent some time on their web site. I am running 6 devices off this remote and with their "activity based programming" it keeps you out of having to hard code a billion...

1. If you expect flexibility from this remote, you'll be very disappointed. The remote does what it thinks you should do rather than what you want to do. For example, you can not send a sequence of commands. So, if you want to control your lighting, you're out of luck. The data base did...

I purchased the Harmony 1100 after my Harmony 890 went bad after only 14 months. Do not buy the Harmony 890, the LCD screens goes bad in about a year. I decided to upgrade because Logitect offered 50% off due to my model 890 going bad just past the warranty period. Which is a great deal for Logiech...
