Are you tired of having 20 different remotes laying around any room with electronic devices? I know I was. I had gotten to the point where I needed a remote for the remotes. Pros One button switching between activities, easy set up.
Cons I wrote way too much while covering so little of what it can do.
Recommended it? Yes

I call our gaggle of electronics a "Home Theater". You can call your gaggle that too, if you want. If yours is like ours, it's made of components from different manufacturers, from different production years, with a bunch of non-compatible remote controls. CON:

1. If you expect flexibility from this remote, you'll be very disappointed. The remote does what it thinks you should do rather than what you want to do. For example, you can not send a sequence of commands. So, if you want to control your lighting, you're out of luck. The data base did... Read full review »

I purchased the Harmony 1100 after my Harmony 890 went bad after only 14 months. Do not buy the Harmony 890, the LCD screens goes bad in about a year. I decided to upgrade because Logitect offered 50% off due to my model 890 going bad just past the warranty period.
