I was very disappointed in this radio. Reception was poor. In order to receive some bandwidth types you have to remove the batteries and use a fine tool (not included) to move the switch that seemed all too breakable. Speaker was very tinny. Cons Complicated alarm set up. No battery backup. Price. No quick one button alarm cancel.

I just bought this radio, used, from a liquidator that has hotel furnishings, so it is probably from the hotel that the previous reviewer mentioned.
