The 225s Rock!

byTodd Sep 21, 1999
19 Helpfuls 20 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Great live sound
Cons comfort
Recommended it? Yes

The Grado SR225 is my personal favorite in the Grado line of fine headphones. These cans really rock. Great bass, liquid mids and fairly detailed highs are the characteristics of the 225s. Their ability to deliver the impact of the music is unrivaled - you will feel the punch of the kick drum as if... Read full review »

Your Ears Still Have Not Experienced True Joy

bygadlor Feb 12, 2005
17 Helpfuls 18 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Awesome clarity, tight bass, reveals depth to music you've never heard before.
Cons I tend to rub them all over my body, grunting and gyrating.
Recommended it? Yes

Pros Great Sound Quality, Great On-ear Comfort, Helpful Carrying Case Included
Cons A little awkward to handle, Difficult to fold-up at first
Recommended it? Yes

In today's electronically driven world practically everybody has an IPod, Mp3 player, or some other form of portable music player. Everyone also has six pairs of headphones: Five that no longer work and one that will no longer work in about a month. The headphone industry has us by our necks... Read full review »

Nice Choice

2 Helpfuls 3 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Portability, sound isolation, lightweight, good sound quality, nice style, comfortable...
Cons Springy headband twists and snaps out of position when bumped. Pressure against ears...
Recommended it? Yes

My old Sony Studio Monitor headphones were getting worn so I decided to put them out to pasture in my living room. I wanted something more portable but didn’t want to compromise sound. If you’re like me, you know that the headphones included in most players are inadequate. I tried several in-ear... Read full review »
