The 225s Rock!

byTodd Sep 21, 1999
19 Helpfuls 20 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Great live sound
Cons comfort
Recommended it? Yes

The Grado SR225 is my personal favorite in the Grado line of fine headphones. These cans really rock. Great bass, liquid mids and fairly detailed highs are the characteristics of the 225s. Their ability to deliver the impact of the music is unrivaled - you will feel the punch of the kick drum as if... Read full review »

Your Ears Still Have Not Experienced True Joy

bygadlor Feb 12, 2005
17 Helpfuls 18 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Awesome clarity, tight bass, reveals depth to music you've never heard before.
Cons I tend to rub them all over my body, grunting and gyrating.
Recommended it? Yes

I had long pondered the idea of purchasing a new pair of headphones (or for the hip among us - "cans") since I figured among the price difference between my fifty dollar Sony pair and the high-priced headhuggers of such companies as AKG, Sennheiser, and of course, Grado.

Pros The sound is quality.
Cons Wearing these makes you look like an idiot.
Recommended it? No

Some things are such of a cataclysmic failure, that they circle their way all the way back around to win. One example would be Buddy Holly's (and later, Elvis Costello's, and after him, Drew Carey's) glasses. Dorky though they were, the glasses were practically synonymous with the people... Stylish Look, Great Bass, Clear Sound

byshmoman Sep 29, 2006
10 Helpfuls 11 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Great sound, great bass, comfortable fit.
Cons Can't lay your head back while wearing them... No sleeping while wearing!
Recommended it? Yes

The first time that I got these head phones I got them for Christmas and I was a little worried, they didn't really look like the headphones for me. The headphones that I usually use were either ear buds, or the over the head kind. These head phones wrap around the back of your head and lay on top... Read full review »
