Their dynamic presentation hits you hard and leaves you running to catch up. They deliver detailed highs and mids, along with tight bass. They are moderately comfortable, but for a more comfy fit you can bend the glove leather-covered headband. Cons I wish Grado had included the mahogany carrying case...

Before purchasing these headphones a number of months ago, I had been using the Grado SR-125s, and I had been blown away by their sound each and every time I heard them since I bought them a little more than 6 months before that.

Pros Great sound, excellent midrange and highs. Low price.
Cons Response curve isn't flat. Hard to find locally. Not enough bass for some.
Recommended it? Yes

I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I'm more picky than the average person when it comes to sound -- I can't stand most laptop speakers (I don't know how kids can stand blasting music from their laptops), and I was so disappointed with the sound from my LCD TV I totally disabled the speakers...
