GE wouldn't let its customers down with a cheap product now would it?

They did.

This phone lasted both me and my neighbor a good year before the LCD screen stopped working.

Pros Relatively Inexpensive Cordless Phone
Cons Can't pick calls put on hold from other bases

This phone only works with an RCA 25414RE3 or 25415RE3 base. If the base it is attached to is not in use, it can be used, but it is an either or option. The base and the handset can't be used at the same time.
