Howdy doody, folks. That's a question. You're supposed to answer (e.g. Great! Never Better! Been to hell and back!). Kidding. I'll get serious.

I bought this scanner about a month ago off Epson's clearance rack. For those who aren't familiar, Epson has a clearance store at their website... Read full review »

Pros Good software, excellent resolution, fast, clear crisp images.
Cons Scanner forces itself to scan even if locked. No physical guide for laying out film.

Recommended it? Yes

I purchased this scanner to replace an Epson Expression 1600 scanner with transparency adapter. That scanner served me 6 years, but started to put colored lines in the scans. To repair it would have cost $480. This Epson Perfection V700 cost me $500 including shipping, so the choice wasn't hard to... Read full review »

I purchased the Epson V700 two years ago in order to transform my growing film archive into digital images. My primary purpose was to have a more permanent archival form with easy redundant capacity. After having researched scanners extensively, I settled on the V700. Since I do serious amateur but... Read full review »
