I "inherited" this scanner from my parents about six months ago. They didn't have any of the cables, installation disks, or instructions - just the scanner itself.

I was able to pick up the cables cheaply from a local Radio Shack and download the necessary programs and drivers...

I bought this scanner over a year ago with the idea to scan colored slides and negatives. I tried it with a few slides and was satisfied with the results. Didn't get to that project yet and the scanner died last week after fewer than 75 scans under its belt. It lights up I haven't tried dealing...

Scanner forces itself to scan even if locked. No physical guide for laying out film.
