Cons Tough to take advantage of the SuperAudio with limited media selection

If you are an audiophile, chances are you're way beyond the five disc CD changer, but for those who want to upgrade from the first multiple disc CD player they bought in the 80's without completely revamping their entire audio setup, Sony's SCD-CD595 5-Disc CD Changer is a great choice.

Pros Fine SACD, good redbook CD, inexpensive.
Cons Slow disc read and level change, remote lacks number buttons for direct track access.
Recommended it? Yes

Bought this SACD changer a few months ago, so now have good experience with it and a dozen classical and jazz SACD's. The SACD feature, with a SACD disc of course, in 2-channel mode, does seem to add some detail, naturalness and spaciousness compared to regular, "redbook" CD. Multichannel discs... Cons Atrocious quality. Exorbitant price.

I've gone through TWO Denon DCM-390's, both of which were garbage not worthy of shelf-space at Walmart.
