The main attraction to this unit is because it's up front features. It plays CDs and DVDs and has an excellent setup menu. One will not find multiple trivial features that many other manufacturers offer. Just simple playback... Read full review »

Cons Connections limited to HDMI only -- no other ports, no support for DVD R.

I bought this DVD player to replace my Denon 3910. Now that the DVD format wars appear over, I wanted to start my Blu-ray collection.

We purchased this product as part of a high end home theatre system designed for our new home. The first unit was installed in Aug 2004. Pros Matched my Denon receiver.
Cons It takes too many stamps to mail it back to the manufacturer every six months.
Recommended it? No

Well I am reluctant to say that I too have had nothing but trouble with this darn thing. I originally purchased it in October of '03 and as those above, began getting error messages ("disc error" or something to that effect) within 5 or 6 months.
