Pros Lots of variety, more music, less talk, easy to set up, great sound
Cons Not including the vehicle adapter kit and/or home kit

"10 bucks a month for radio service?! Who would in their right mind pay for something I can get for free or listen to CDs for my music. 10 bucks a month, yeah right."

Pros Portability from car to home to work. A blessing compared to regular radio.
Cons Car kit is primitive. XM is for mass market. Don't expect to like every station.
Recommended it? Yes

Living in Southern California, I'm faced with a pretty long commute - a minimum of 2 hours a day on the road going to and from work.

I've been extremely dissatisfied with FM, and there's only so much I can take of AM after the news, traffic reports and a little talk radio here and there... Read full review »

Pros Good price but with most of the features of the more expensive receivers.
Cons Takes some time to find the satellite, is not portable.
Recommended it? Yes

If you are looking to subscribe to Sirius satellite radio, I would recommend the Sportster 5 as the receiver to buy. Sirius offers a few different receivers including the Stiletto, the Sportster, the Starmate and the Stratus. The Stiletto is convienent because of its portability but the price of...
