Dell's raiding the Pocket PC pantry again with the Axim X5

byyusakugo Dec 3, 2002

Pros Tons of features, great price.
Cons Size of the unit, Pocket PC OS.
Recommended it? Yes

Well, Dell is expanding its markets... it was just a matter of time before Dell dove into the handheld market. No surprise that it sided with the Pocket PC OS since Dell has had a strong relationship with Microsoft and Intel. Yes, many of the parts inside the Dell Axim are made by Intel.

CLIE SJ22 - A cosmetic facelift of the older "discontinued" SJ30 model

byyusakugo Jun 25, 2003
74 Helpfuls 75 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Color, 16MB RAM, under $200, essentially the older SJ30 i.e. T615 model
Cons A bit thick... other minor problems.
Recommended it? Yes

To keep up with the market and maintain a presence in the medium priced PDA market, Sony took its original T615 model changed the case and cosmetic design as well as unit size... and dubbed it the SJ30. That was nearly a year ago. The unit sold for $299 and sold well for Sony. However, as time... Read full review »

Good for the price

Pros cheap, nice screen, small
Cons No Apple Macintosh support. Memory stick is not as interchangable as you wish
Recommended it? Yes

I believe a PDA should be small and do what you need, not what you think you need. So many have extra things like crappy MP3 player or camera, when you are really better off just getting a second device (I have an iPod, since I want 1000 CDs, not 10 or so available). The SK22 has the up to date... Read full review »
