D2hs for special use only

Pros Super fast frame rate 8fps & huge buffer even in RAW
Cons only 4mp if you're wanting large prints.
Recommended it? Yes

We've been shooting Nikon digitals since 1997. I find the D2hs a wonderful camera. I would not purchase the D2H, due to the new D200. The D2hs I would currently still recommend for those shooters who need high speed focusing and really high frame rates. Most of our shooting is models-for-the-web,... Read full review »

Pros 5 Megapixel Images, Pro metering, NO SHUTTER LAG
Cons Nothing important
Recommended it? Yes

For the past ten years professional and serious amateur photographers have wondered what digital photography was going to be like when it grew up. The answer to that question is pretty complicated, but the new Nikon Coolpix 5000 might be part of the answer. Every now and again there is a quantum... Read full review »

The Nikon Coolpix 5000 - Enter the world of 5-megapixel bliss - Part 1

Pros Incredible images. Numerous features. Good optics. Nikon name.
Cons Expensive. Only a 3x optical zoom. Some shutter lag.
Recommended it? Yes
