Pros Super fast frame rate 8fps & huge buffer even in RAW
Cons only 4mp if you're wanting large prints.
Recommended it? Yes

We've been shooting Nikon digitals since 1997. I find the D2hs a wonderful camera. I would not purchase the D2H, due to the new D200. Pros very user friendly, has all the regular features of SLRs, takes clear and quality photos
Cons LCD gets marks from the nose very easily

The Nikon D40 is not a heavy, bulky and complicated SLR to use. As an amateur, I wanted something that will introduce me to the world of photography without the complications, but with the great SLR features.
