Pros Very loud bass and volume possible without getting distortion. Woofer makes a good...
Cons Potentiometers start to make scratching noises after a while.
Recommended it? Yes

I purchased these speakers in 2004.

This was a very good sounding set of budget PC speakers with woofer. Construction is solid. The two post speakers will not normally tip over, and if they do, no big deal.

Pros On/off button and volume controlled by a isolated unit.
Cons None that I can identify yet, they seem to do the job for me.
Recommended it? Yes

I use "Band in a Box" software and I needed something with wattage to keep up with guitar amps.
So I'm traveling through Costco and I did a double take when I saw the specs on this dynamo set. Then I did a triple take when I saw the price!

I have my man-cave. It has a 26" wide-screen HDMI TV. I have been trying to use the built-in speakers. I have hearing loss partially offset by a hearing aid. Pros High volume without distorion. Sounds compareable to a pair of decent home stereo...
Cons Volume control is not easy to use, speaker stand could be designed better.
Recommended it? Yes

I have 4 pairs of these speakers so I have plenty of experience with these. For the other reviewer on here that says the volume is weak... you probably have something set wrong because these are loud!
