If you want a compact PMP for mainly music and/video playback, get the Cowon S9. It has a beautiful screen, plays a wide range of A/V file types, and is one of the best sounding PMPs on the market. The S9 is compact and lightweight, but is solidly constructed. Great sound and battery...

This is a really nice MP3 player, but if you are going to spend that amount on one- choose an ipod or zune. I was not comfortable spending this much on an unknown brand. Didn't seem reasonable. It does have some nice features and has a great amount of storage.
