It's hard to pick a PDA these days, Palm vs. PocketPC. various items etc. But the 3950 from compaq is really outstanding. great screen--just go compare it against anyone side by side.

Pros Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition , good handling, very pocketable, clear and contrasty...

Cons low processing power, no user replaceable battery, little memory for serious gamming.

Pros Lighweight 4.23oz (120g). Mecanicallly sturdy. Good screen, buttons, D-Pad...

Cons Memory is only 32M. Fragile sync connector. Overpriced product.

Compact and lightweight (4.23oz / 120g). The rz1715 is mechanically compact, and sturdy -- it looks that the unit could even survive moderate abuse.
