The Coby MPCD521 features an attractive design and several beneficial features. It will play CD-R and CD-R/RW disks. It will also play files in MP3 format. These files must be stored on a CD. The MPCD521 cannot store files itself. The unit has a 120 second anti-skip for MP3 files and 60 second anti-skip for regular CD's. Another added plus is the digital stereo neckband headphones won't mess up your hair. Works with 2 AA batteries (not included) or an optional 4.5V DC adapter (also not included). Pros Great sound, plays MP3s, IR Onkyo link, 6 discs, coaxial & optical digital outs
Cons Lower SNR than Denon, No HDCD support, No SACD support

Pros Sounds good when it plays.

Player worked well at first but after a couple of months would occasionally not recognize that a CD was loaded. It would scan all six slots and then would display No Disc.
