After getting my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ5, I started having doubts if maybe Canon PowerShot S2 IS was the way to go. The only way to find out was to buy the Canon S2 IS and compare it with my Panasonic FZ5. So I purchased the Canon S2 IS and after using and comparing the two, I chose to keep the... Pros Much like the A520 that has been good to us the last couple of years.
Cons A bit larger body camera and small LED than other comparably priced cameras.
Recommended it? Yes

My wife and I purchased a Canon PowerShot A520 Digital Camera for her the spring before last. She was quite happy with the camera but she needed another because she wants to use the Power Shot A520 exclusively with the camera club she runs at school. The new one will be her family camera that we... Read full review »

Canon PowerShot A530 5-Megapixel Digital Camera - Compact and Inexpensive

bydkozin Mar 27, 2006
47 Helpfuls 48 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Uses 2 AA batteries, compact, 5MP, inexpensive, features, manual controls, image quality
Cons Slow flash recycle time
Recommended it? Yes

Previously, you could only get up to 4MP resolution in this format from Canon (Canon PowerShot A520)... Read full review »
