A replacement for the last year's Canon A400, the 3.2-Megapixel Canon PowerShot A410 is currently available at very low prices. I got mine for $118 together with Canon camera case, which brings the price of the camera itself to under $110.

Nikon makes some of the worlds best cameras. this is one is no different. it has very high quality parts, and a durable construction. although i fear to bring it along for vacations i know if i did i would have a ton of fantastic pictures to share with my friends.
