Pros Blazing speeds, gorgeous colour prints, 5-ink system, 2 input trays, duplexer, quiet...

Cons No luck with black and white photos, cheap feeling build

Last Christmas I decided I should ask for an ink jet printer, but before it went on my list, it needed to be a well researched choice.

Pros Great features at a reasonable price. Good paper handling. Great quality.

Cons May have a bigger footprint than you're used to.

Recommended it? Yes

I'd always stuck with Lexmarks until my last one died. I then switched off to an Epson, which bit the dust when I was changing Ink Cartridges. Epson politely offered my a $30 coupon. After searching their site and the web I ended up with the Canon IP5200.
