Pros Good quality pictures, Long battery life, Low price
Cons Uses expensive Memory Stick media
Recommended it? Yes

It's not everyday that I'm impressed with a particular digital camera. In fact, I come across several digital cameras monthly due to the nature of my hobby. Last month, I worked with the DSC-W50 to photograph some cars for a local automobile dealer. Having already worked with the DSC-W30, I wasn't... Read full review »

Pros Better than it's more expensive predecessors. Fixes key faults.
Cons Television real-estate hucksters. Camera? No cons, really. Good value for price.
Recommended it? Yes

Technology is a great thing. Whether deflation is here is a subject of debate among economists. If properly defined as a contraction of money supply and credit, then it is. But regardless of this, digital cameras definitely provide ever increasing amounts of features and performance for the... Read full review »

I have recently purchased the Canon 500D, I bought the standard kit so came with the main body, 18-55mm lens (with covers), battery, battery charger and camera strap (need to purchase SD card/memory card separately). I took it out of the box and was pleasantly surprised how light it was even with... Read full review »
