Pros Inexpensive for the quality; good software; fast scanning; quality images; easy set up.
Cons I honestly cannot think of any at this time.

I purchased this scanner to replace an Epson Expression 1600 scanner with transparency adapter. That scanner served me 6 years, but started to put colored lines in the scans. This scanner  has a learning curve, but once you learn all the tricks, it is very easy to use. Scanning quality is good as well as the software is responsive.
