When Olympus claims its Stylus 770SW is the “world’s most durable camera,” it means it. It can be dropped from up to five feet, be immersed underwater down to 33 feet, withstand temperatures as cold as -10 degrees Celsius, and support up to 220lbs of pressure, all without breaking a sweat. While the Olympus Stylus 770SW is obviously great for hikers and adventurers, its solid build also makes it the perfect camera for younger, more accident-prone users. Less

I have used this camera for about a year now. It is a great improvement over my previous point and shoot (Vivitar 3615). I was initially worried about the battery not being (multiple) AA or AAA since I was hoping I could use rechargeable batteries with it. I am very pleased with the battery life so... I've had this camera for almost a year. My husband broke my old one before Easter and I knew I needed a new one before that photo op. How he broke it, I do not know. I think he sat on it and the lens cracked because when you turn it on, there was a weird black-lined leaf-like pattern on the... Read full review »

Pros Waterproof, Shockproof, Durable, Good Warranty
Cons Poor image quality, unintuitive user interface, complicated menus
