Pros Variable heat control, stable base for heavy pots, made in the USA.
Cons Difficult to clean underneath the heating element, has a short cord.
Recommended it? Yes

We purchased the BroilKing PR-S1 cooktop to replace a tabletop gas range/burner. The BroilKing's primary use is serving traditional Japanese nabe, which is cooked on the table. The BroilKing is pretty good at this.
