Pros Very good sound overall, bass handling and high volume capability.
Cons Very uncomfortable

These Pioneer HDJ1000 headphones have very good sound. Very good bass response; but they are very uncomfortable. There is too much inward tension against the ears and it's difficult to adjust to lessen the tension. The padding is too hard and small in diameter; they sit on top one's ears not around... I just returned my Quietcomfort 3 headset back to Bose. I primarily use a Stax SR-001 MKII in ear electrostatic headset (and as of late a QuietComfort 2) for at home / college use.
