Easily upgrade to home theater sound by simply adding the VCS-10 center channel speaker to your existing surround sound receiver and stereo speakers. You will hear exciting lifelike sound across the front of your room, with dialogue "locked" on the screen. From there, add surround speakers for full home theater sound.??The VCS-10 center channel speaker uses proprietary Bose technologies like Compound Loaded Drivers and an Articulated Array speaker design. Using a proprietary design, these drivers are engineered to optimize low-frequency output for rich, natural sound from a small enclosure. By precisely positioning the drivers inside the speaker cabinet, an Articulated Array speaker design can provide a large, consistent sound field. This allows for a more cinema-like experience with VCS-10 center channel speaker and for more even sound coverage with 251 outdoor speakers. You hear cinema-like dialogue reproduced consistently over a wider area than with conventional center channel speakers. Dialogue remains... Less

Pros Says 'BOSE' On It In Very Large Letters
Cons Poor Ranges, Sounds Bad, Sounds Worse Than Most Other Center Channels
Recommended it? No

If you walk up to a normal person on the street and ask them what the best speaker company is, and they don't know much about this field; they will say Bose is the best. Bose is surrounded by hype. I tried out the 701 speakers, those were the only ones I liked. The M&K towers that i tried out... Read full review »

Pros If it says Bose, the misinformed think you have great equipment.
Cons If you dont research, you will be duped by this company.
Recommended it? No

Lets rewind back to 1997. I was 27 years old and making money for the first time in my life. I had always had an affinity for high end stereo equipment. Having grown up in a household where Klipsch, Cambridge Soundworks, Advent, Bic Venturi and Mid 70's Yamaha (When they REALLY were GREAT speakers)... Read full review »

Bose Cinemate delivers!

Pros Bring high end sound to TV and DVD in a bedroom or den
Cons A bit pricey.
Recommended it? Yes

Let's say you have a TV in a bedroom or den. Chances are, since DVD players are so cheap, you have one of those connected as well. Odds are that you don't have a full surround sound home theater set-up though. First, they can be large and expensive, and second, a bunch of audio gear seems out of... Read full review »
