I picked out this model because it was among the least expensive models that have optical audio output. Pros compact and user friendly
Cons Poorly engineered. Needs repairs too soon after you buy.
Recommended it? No

My Bose Soundwave CD changer unit stopped working and would not eject discs. I got on several fix it sites and found that others had posted the same or similar problems.
Called Bose and they will repair for a price.
My advice..
