Best Sounding, Best Looking, Most Expensive Earphones Ever!

bybobby1digital Feb 4, 2006
18 Helpfuls 19 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Exceptionally clear mids, and highs. Extended bass response. VERY comfortable.
Cons Expensive, Bass could be better for price range.
Recommended it? Yes

Let me first start off by saying that I am not the type of person that would normally pay $300 for a set of headphones. As it turned out I had a large store credit burning a hole in my pocket, so I ended up paying $269 for these babies at Ultimate Electronics. All I can say is that these are... Read full review »

Best ear buds I've owned

14 Helpfuls 15 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros High quality, great sound, variety of ear pieces, the cord.
Cons Price.
Recommended it? Yes

I once heard something on a commercial that really sticks in my mind: "You'll remember the quality long after forgetting about the price". 6 Helpfuls 7 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Quality, sound, great brand name, unique style.
Cons Maybe too bassy for some, but not me.
Recommended it? Yes

I bought these shortly after my Sennheiser 280 Pro's started cracking near the headband. They still work, but I'll keep them as my backup's.

The Beyerdynamics include a completely different design than the more portable Sennheisers, but that's not really a bad thing. The Senn 280 pros... Read full review »

Pro headphones good for home use too

bysmwechsler Dec 28, 2000
4 Helpfuls 5 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Excellent sound, well made, true pro quality
Cons Not as comfortable as could be, inefficient
Recommended it? Yes

I bought these headphones because I was looking for a sealed model that I could use for listening during my daily commute. My Sennheiser HD-580s, while fantastic sounding, tended to bother the people around me because so much of the sound leaks out due to their open back design. I also wanted... Read full review »
