Pros Sound Great! Quality Construction, Good Looks PRICE!!!
Cons Uncomfortable. Big ears required for comfy fit.
Recommended it? Yes

I bought these to replace my Sennheiser HD457's. They sound, and look great. They were a little scratched up straight out of the box, but only in place not noticeable when on your head. The cord is long and durable. I cannot wear for more than an hour without noticeable discomfort. Read full review »

Cons They can break easily if not handled carefully.

Pros Very good sound overall, bass handling and high volume capability.

These Pioneer HDJ1000 headphones have very good sound. Very good bass response; but they are very uncomfortable. There is too much inward tension against the ears and it's difficult to adjust to lessen the tension. The padding is too hard and small in diameter; they sit on top one's ears not around...
