I have used the subwoofer from the Athena Point Five speaker package for about a year and change and then bought a replacement: the Athena AS-P400 for $173.

Pros Great sound, powerful bass, low price.
Cons Sounds a little sloppy below 35 hz

I originally bought this sub about 1 year ago for parties at my house. While in college I wanted a high powered sub while still staying below $500.
