The CDA-9835 is the third Alpine deck that has been in my car. The first was a 9811 (reviewed elsewhere), followed by a 9815. I really liked the 9811 – it was easy to use, sounded good and looked great, but I upgraded because it only had an eight-character display, and did not have an auto-dimmer... Read full review »

I just purchased the CDA-9835 and it lives up to all my expectations.

Installation is slightly more complicated than other stereos due to the power requirements. The stereo requires a beefier cable for power and ground than most factory wiring harnesses can deliver. I used a 10 gauge... Read full review »

This is a great deck. I love how you can control soo much on the highs lows and mids. It is top of line and of course a product of Alpine which is one of the best in car stereo makers. I love this deck. Sounds great. Read full review »
