Project 8 - The best Tony Hawk so far

byjkafer Apr 16, 2007

Pros Fun gameplay, no loading screens, nail a trick challenges
Cons Goofy and juvenile at times, silly challenges
Recommended it? Yes

Tony Hawk has been on the skating scene since I was in Junior High and I'm in my 30s. Needless to say, the guy is too old to skate competitively, so he's turned to selling his name on skating video games. Shrewd move since the Tony Hawk franchise has sold many units and is the preferred skater sim... Read full review »

Pros Comic book-like art style, smooth gameplay, variety of guns, good character...
Cons Short missions and the same for multi and single player, no real narrative, bad A.I.
Recommended it? Yes

Brink caught my eye and many other gamers with its unique design and catchy trailers. First of all, the setting of the game is a floating city called the Ark where the remains of humanity are clashing on how to survive. Enter: the Resistance and the Security. The Security believe that staying put... Read full review »

Software developers Splash Damage are no strangers to hit games. As the creative team behind Quake 3 and Quake Wars, many people were excited when it was announced they would team with Zenimax to create a unique new shooter called Brink.
