Pros: Excellent picture if connected to satellite
Cons: May not be best for cable hookup, pricey
The Bottom Line: SONY'S KDF-60XS955 Grand Wega is a contender!

Pros: Great picture and sound!
Takes 1080i signals to perfection!
Cons: $3600 when they first came out. Get a 1080p set for about half now.
The Bottom Line: Sony tech is amazing. Right in line with their products over the years. I highly recommend this or any newer set they make!!

Pros: Unbelievable picture. The preponderance of connections on the rear panel. The built-in ATSC/NTSC tuner.
Cons: The 132W bulb for illumination is a concern so I added the 4-year protection plan.
The Bottom Line: Definitely a "BUY" product! (Get the extended protection plan.) As of 16 Nov 2005, I am still THRILLED with this product. Preparing to purchase an HDMI-equipped up-converting DVD player.

Pros: Clarity, sharpness, good viewing angle.
Cons: would like speakers to be detachable.
The Bottom Line: Compared to everything else (plasma, DLP, other LCD's) this has the best overall picture quality.

Pros: Great Picture and sound!
Cons: Short life on projection lamp. Save ALL paperwork, Sony's warranty Dept will require
The Bottom Line: Purchase the unit. One of the best available. Just save all paperwork for warranty needs.

Pros: Good color, sound quality, built-in HD tuner, number of inputs, elegant styling.
Cons: Bad pixelation (screen-door-effect), bulb needs replaced periodically, expensive.
The Bottom Line: If your viewing this set from more than 12 ft.than you may find it acceptable, but if you sit any closer, go with the 55".
