Pros: Outstanding reliability and durability.
Cons: The top of the dasher is sometimes difficult to fit into the motor housing.
The Bottom Line: Our White Mountain ice cream maker is 10 years old now and works as well as the very first time we used it. We love it!

Pros: Strong Motor, Stainless steel can
Cons: Way too expensive, Motor Leeks Grease, Poor quality since Rival/Holmes bought company.
The Bottom Line: If you like the stronger motor and have $200 to blow then go ahead, otherwise buy a lower priced "plastic" one and by premium ice cream at Braum's.
