Pros: Outstanding OTA picture on "CRT" TV. 4.3Pan&Scan option for clear fullscreen OTA HD program viewing.
Cons: Slow channel changing. No DVD-RAM capability.
The Bottom Line: I recommend the Phillips DVDR3505/37 for the "WOW" picture quality displayed using "CRT box" TVs and for true to life 4.3 Pan&Scan screen viewing option for HD widescreen programs.

Pros: Excellent picture and sound.
Cons: Slow channel changing, pedestrian feature set, keeps forgetting the channel pre-sets.
The Bottom Line: Would not recommend purchase of this unit because of design flaws and reliability issues.

Pros: excellent picture, improved interface, ATSC/NTSC/QAM tuners, working auto clock, price.
Cons: No true HD or DD, slow tuning, poor channel management, weak remote.
The Bottom Line: It's a step in the right direction, but the operation is very slow and the channel management poor.
