Great camera but not so easy to use
Pros: Once you figure everything out, this is an excellent camera for the intermediate photographer.
Cons: You can's see the image in the LCD screen prior to taking the picture. Full review I got this camera for Christmas last year and it came with an extra lens for up to 75mm I think. I loved the camera from the beginning, the only complaint I have about it is that you cant see in the LCD what the picture looks like prior to taking the picture. Maybe I just haven't found the right instructions in the very long book about it but after going from a relatively inexpensive camera that I only used the LCD screen to take the pictures to this, it makes it a bit difficult. I used to have the big SLR camera so I can do this, but I kind of liked the other way. Once I figured out all of the things this could do, the ease of it became a lot better. It is easy to change different aspects and I love the sepia setting and black and white. The enclosed software for this makes editing very easy and the quality of pictures is excellent. I haven't tried taking anything up as far as poster size yet but I know the 8 x 10 comes out just as clear as the small wallet sized photos. The extra lens that came with this comes in handy but is not necessary since the small lens makes it easy to use especially for standard photography. This takes very good people pictures and the built in flash is very nice so you don't have to mess with buying an extra flash. |
