Pros: Superb image quality. Fast response.
Cons: Poor automatic white balance.

Pros: Versatile, flexible, part of a huge system, excellent quality.
Cons: Not as rugged as metal Nikons. Can't meter with non-AF Nikkors.
The Bottom Line: Perfect choice for the experienced amateur or pro looking for their first digital SLR.

Pros: Shutter release, heavier body, interchangable lenses, Nikon brand.
Cons: Compact flash instead of SD cards, only 6MP

Pros: Excellent entry-level price for a pro-level camera
Cons: Lack of TTL underwater, smaller viewfinder than Film SLRs
