Pros: swivel lens, quick shot , 2.5" screen
Cons: none.
The Bottom Line: Good for people who want quality and options while taking a picture. I dont think Ill ever buy a NON-swivel lens camera again!

Pros: Great pictures, long battery life, incredible macro and zoom, swivel design, easy to use.
Cons: No manual adjustments whatsoever.
The Bottom Line: This is a specialty camera for special needs. Not everyone will appreciate it's qualities. Those who do will find this camera has no equal.

Pros: Image quality, optical IS, ultra zoom, excellent macro, good low light, small.
Cons: No manual white balance; but Nikon is god of metering, so not a problem!

Pros: small, sleek size, swivel lens, great low lit shots
Cons: crap lens cap, few hard buttons, offcentre directional button, blurry flash photos, not enough control
The Bottom Line: Don't buy this one. Hopefully the next generation of coolpixes will solve some of the issues with this one. Or ebay an older coolpix (I'd recommend the 4500).

Pros: Great looking camera. Takes nice pictures.
Cons: Camera frustrates and hinders impromptu picture taking. Missing many features.
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for the ability to venture occasionally into advanced features this camera is missing far too many advanced features. For other folks it's the perfect camera.

Pros: Long battery live; swivel lens; 10x optical zoom
Cons: Terrible shutter lag; LCD worthless in sunlight
The Bottom Line: Buy a camera with a viewfinder and a faster shutter. (And this ain't that!)
