Pros: Best AM and FM reception you can get, nicely designed controls, good sound quality
Cons: Serious shortwave listeners might prefer a radio that will receive single-sideband transmissions
The Bottom Line: Incredible AM and FM reception makes distant stations sound close. Well designed controls, very good sound. If you love listening to the radio, you'll love the S350.

Pros: Reception; great sound from speaker; sturdy antenna is refreshing feature on a portable radio
Cons: Store display dial tuner was wobbly; online registration was dead end, no Grundig help

Pros: A great alternative for buyers looking for something different in a shortwave radio
Cons: small speaker is a poor performer outdoors
The Bottom Line: This radio is a bit more retro with it's styling and functions compared to other shortwave radios but that's where it's charm lies

Pros: Great sound, nice handle, batteries last a long time, great for band-scanning (no chuffing)
Cons: Switches seem cheap, drifting, no dedicated clock
The Bottom Line: Great sound at a great price. There are better shortwave radios out there but not at this price. A fun package with above average performance.
