Pros: Powerful reproduction of natural sound! Can handle great input. Sleek new enclosure!
Cons: OWNER'S MANUAL combines 301-V and 201-V.
The Bottom Line: When it comes to reproducing clear powerful and natural sound and indestructible build quality, nobody does it better than Bose! The new 201-V clearly "reflects" the fact!

Pros: Great Bose sound and quality craftmanship! Good highs, clean mids, true lows.
Cons: Nothing thats worth mentioning. Gold plated screw style connectors would have been good.
The Bottom Line: BOSE = ACCURATE, CLEAN, and BOLD sound and the 201s continue that tradition. A safe bet and will impress your ears for a medium sized bookshelf speaker!

Pros: Above average sound output for this class of speaker, proven technology, stronger resale value.
Cons: Maybe lacking some base, but it's what I expected from a 6.5" woofer.
The Bottom Line: Quality sounding, virtually distortion free, $200, what's not to like, or what more could you expect to get out of only a 6.5" woofer?

The Bottom Line: Crystal clear cymbals, excellent voice reproduction.

Pros: Excellent powerful robust speaker. Superb mid bass! Unusually good protection!
Cons: Not as extended or accurate as others now available in its price class.
The Bottom Line: As time and technology progress...the Bose 201-V Cherry speaker remains an excellent choice for audiophiles and casual listeners alike. Still...a few other designs have caught up with it.
