The Sony KDF-42E2000 42" Grand WEGA is a rear screen projector LCD TV with an integrated ATSC Tuner. A powerful lamp projects an intense light through three LCD shutter masks, one each for the Red, Blue and Green picture information resulting in a beautiful high-resolution image. Equipped with HDMI, the Sony KDF-42E2000 frees you from ugly, tangled messy nests of audio and video cables snaking behind your entertainment center. While not quite trim enough to hang on a wall, table top-sized LCD projection TVs are much lighter and thinner than conventional big-box CRT projection TVs.
