I live in the woods of northern Minnesota, operate a sled dog kennel and hate to shop. Love your service and great deals for my hubby and two sons ages 46, 9 and 6. The items are great, one suggestion would be to let people know before purchase that items are back ordered. That happened only once to me and I was bummed that other items were on there way. Otherwise keep up the great work!

I was ver pleased with the service I received when it came to having questions answered and the communications involved with returning an item that was the wrong size ordered. An excellent experience. I will be shopping here again in the near future. I love that Sierra Trading post is connected to paypal. It was one of the reasons that I chose to shop here.

I had to return it because it didn't fit right and the color was slightly darker than it looked on the online picture, but I had no problems returning it. I did have to get my own box, since it arrived in a plastic envelope in which the shoe box arrived crushed, though. The UPS label provided was convenient. The one complaint I have is that they shipped it in a plastic envelope rather than a box!

I have made several purchases from Sierra Trading Post and been very pleased with the product and their prompt shipment. I have not had but one occasion to call their customer service and my problem was resolved immediately and to my complete satisfaction. I intend to be a long time customer.

Everything arrived as expected, but my recent orders are spending multiple days in the "order processing" state before shipping. This is more sluggish than I expect from STP.
When dealing with customer service, reps fail to spend enough time understanding an issue before issuing a reply. Last time I contacted customer service, it took no less than 10 emails to correct a mistake on STP's part. Unacceptable.

It is very difficult to shop Sierra Trading Post over the border. Sizes vary and the extra expense of shipping and paying and repaying duty on the exchange items makes it prohibitive. I have found it much cheaper to ship USPS, never UPS, and stores like LL Bean use "Borderfree" shipping, which works out to the customer's advantage. I will not shop at Sierra Trading Post again unless I pick it up at a friend's address in the USA. It cost me more in shipping than the value of my purchase.
